“The Beginning” Christmas Light Show

 On Thursday I went to see “The Beginning”, this year’s Christmas light show at Sheffield Cathedral. Once again, it was a spectacular event, with ever-changing images created entirely from light. I don’t know how this is done, and on a large enough scale to bathe the front of the cathedral and a good bit of the inside in image after image of vibrant art. I was mostly just staring in wonder, but here are a few photos that I managed to take between one moment of rapt attention and the next.
