Assignment 2: Historic Poster Research

This part of the assignment is to create a poster about a practitioner’s view of visual communications in that practitioner’s style. I have decided to make my poster in the style of Lynda Barry, who I came across in Assignment 1. 

The light hasn’t been good for taking photos either yesterday or today, so I apologise for the quality of these sketchbook photos. They were the best of three attempts. 

For this part of the assignment I’ve worked entirely in my sketchbook rather than typing here. This is because of Lynda Barry’s views on handwriting v typing, which I describe further down.
